Things to know before your workshop

How it works

Led by master facilitators, Tomorrow Woman delivers engaging, interactive workshops designed for parents of high school students, creating a space to reflect, connect and navigate the evolving challenges of raising teenagers.

Through a mix of depth, humour and vulnerability, our facilitators guide conversations that help parents step beyond expectations and strengthen their relationships at home. Every workshop is unique, shaped by the experiences in the room, with our facilitators expertly guiding and enriching the discussion in real time.

What’s on the table

In these sessions, you’ll explore the pressures and expectations placed on both parents and teenagers, unpack the challenges of communication and learn practical tools for fostering resilience, confidence and connection within your family.

Through interactive activities, you’ll practise deep listening and open conversations, plus you’ll have the chance to connect with other parents, sharing stories and insights that inspire and reassure.

What to bring with you

ll you need is yourself and an open mind. The more you engage, the more you’ll take away, but even just listening can be valuable if that’s what you’re comfortable with.

Bring a partner, friend or fellow parent who’d enjoy a meaningful session, and if you’d like, a notebook for jotting down insights. No special preparation is needed, just come as you are, ready to connect and reflect. Depending on the organiser, food and refreshments may be provided, so check the event details or bring your own.

How to prepare for the workshop

Arriving 5 to 10 minutes early will help you settle in before we begin. Take a moment to think about your journey as a parent, what challenges have you faced and what strengths have helped you along the way?

This is a space for honesty, shared experiences and support and we can’t wait to welcome you.
